Highs and Lows

April 19, 2010

The idea of high/low dressing is definitely not new. It’s just funny how much the definition of “high” and “low” varies across the spectrum. For some it means mixing Valentino with Vince, for others it may mean pairing Tory Burch with Banana Republic, and for others it means rocking J.Crew with Target. Personally, I’m just happy that there are so many options available at every price point. And no matter where you find yourself on the spectrum, what really matters is that you love each and every piece you buy.

Balenciaga Dress — Ebay, (you can see a more detailed picture in my Flickr)
H&M Tank
Abate for Payless Sandals (Of all the heeled gladiator styles I saw last spring/summer, these were hands down my favorite, and the price point was phenomenal.)
Necklace purchased in Brazil — I bought it from this really great jewelry store in Rio, I think I stashed their card somewhere in my mountain of stuff.
